Cancellation is free when you give at least 24 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment. Please cancel through the same contact channel used to make your booking and keep a record of your message.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, the full booking amount will be invoiced, subject to your statutory rights and the requirement that cancellation charges reflect actual losses. We will take reasonable steps to reduce those losses. Any costs saved or income recovered by filling the appointment will be deducted; the charge will never exceed the booking price.
Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. If a valid invoice remains unpaid after 30 days, we will pursue recovery through the County Court small claims process where appropriate. Before starting proceedings, we will send the required Letter of Claim, allow the applicable response period and follow the relevant court protocol. Court fees or other costs will only be claimed where legally recoverable. Please contact us promptly if you dispute an invoice.
We provide professional massage only. We do not offer sexual services, intimate services or “extras”. Requests for these services, indecent questions, sexual comments, unwanted touching, exposure, intimidation and abusive behaviour are unacceptable.
Our therapists have the right to feel safe and to be treated with respect at all times. Any attempt to make a therapist feel uncomfortable through inappropriate, sexual, threatening or abusive behaviour will result in immediate termination of the massage. The therapist may leave immediately and refuse future appointments.
Where necessary, police will be called to the address to protect the therapist and help them leave safely. Non-consensual sexual touching will be reported to the police as suspected sexual assault. Indecent questions, sexual harassment and other inappropriate conduct will be recorded and reported to the police where appropriate. The police determine whether a criminal offence has occurred.
Mobile Massage Oxfordshire acts as a booking intermediary between clients and independent massage therapists. The massage treatment is provided by the assigned independent therapist, who is responsible for their own professional practice, treatment decisions and the services they deliver.
Therapists carry their own professional insurance and have DBS checks verified by Mobile Massage Oxfordshire. Each therapist is responsible for maintaining suitable insurance and meeting their professional obligations.
This arrangement does not remove any legal responsibilities Mobile Massage Oxfordshire has for its own booking or intermediary services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
These terms apply to new bookings made after they have been provided to you and accepted. They do not retrospectively change existing bookings.
Where a statutory cancellation period applies to a booking made online or by telephone, that right takes priority over our 24 hour cancellation policy. If you want treatment to start during an applicable 14 day cancellation period, we will ask for your express request. Where legally applicable, cancelling after treatment has started may require payment for the service already provided; the cancellation right is lost after full performance only where you have expressly requested early performance and acknowledged that consequence.
